Onchain Creator House was a groundbreaking event that brought together a diverse group of creators, artists, and Web3 innovators to explore how blockchain technology is reshaping the creative economy. The first-of-its-kind event aimed to meet creators where they are, helping them seamlessly transition to the onchain world and empowering them to own their content, build direct relationships with their audiences, and monetize their work in entirely new ways. At the heart of the event, Base played a pivotal role with Aneri kicking things off by revealing the new Coinbase Wallet, a powerful tool that simplifies Web3 onboarding for creators. With enhanced features designed specifically for creators, the new Coinbase Wallet offers an intuitive user interface, a social-first experience, and direct access to mini apps. Aneri's talk focused on the challenges creators face on traditional platforms and how Web3 solutions—like Coinbase Wallet—offer freedom from platform gatekeepers, enabling creators to own their content and audiences. The event featured seven lightning talks plus a 1-on-1 with Humpty and our very own onchain superstar, Naomi Metzger aka Afrochicks that provided invaluable insights and practical takeaways for creators looking to thrive in Web3.
